Dr Jacinda Cadman is a clinical psychologist who graduated from her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University in 2009. During her postgraduate studies she developed expertise in the treatment of OCD with Associate Professor Lara Farrell. Following completion of her postgraduate degree she secured a position at the Maudsley Hospital, London, within the OCD and related disorders clinic. Here she worked as a lead therapist and trial co-ordinator of the first randomised control trial under Professor David Mataix-Cols, investigating the effectiveness of CBT in treating young people with BDD. On her return to Australia in 2013 she resumed work at Griffith University with Associate Professor Farrell and is involved in ongoing OCD and BDD treatment and research. She has co-authored a number of papers and book chapters in these areas
