Chad Wetterneck

Chad Wetterneck, PhD, is a certified trainer for functional analytic psychotherapy and a licensed clinical psychologist. He has developed adult partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs for PTSD and dual diagnoses by using CBT for PTSD and by integrating FAP techniques to target co-occurring anxiety and depression. He currently supervises PTSD and dual diagnoses programs in the second largest non-for-profit psychiatric hospital in the United States (Rogers Memorial Hospital). He also holds an adjunct faculty appointment at Marquette University, where he was awarded the outstanding lecturer in counselor education for 2017.
Dr. Wetterneck has experience with a variety of other therapeutic approaches, including CBT and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). He has conducted research and published over 60 peer-reviewed articles. His clinical and research interests include the study of psychotherapy, especially for the treatment of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive spectrum conditions. He is also interested in learning how best to measure interpersonal processes and discovering how best to improve interpersonal relationships.
