Emma Sciberras

Dr Emma Sciberras is an Associate Professor and Clinical Psychologist who leads the Intervention Research Streams of the Deakin Child Study Centre and Centre for Social and Early Emotional Development in the School of Psychology at Deakin University. Dr Sciberras is also an Honorary Research Fellow and Team Leader in Health Services Research at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. Dr Sciberras specialises in the area of ADHD. She holds a Career Development Fellowship funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council, focusing on developing evidence-based interventions for children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Dr Sciberras has published 90 peer-reviewed papers on the topic of ADHD and has recently authored the book, ADHD and Sleep, An Evidence-Based Guide to Assessment and Treatment. Dr Sciberras has delivered many presentations and workshops on ADHD for scientific audiences, clinicians and the broader community. Dr Sciberras is on the board of the Australian ADHD Professionals Association.
