Study Without Stress is a cognitive behavioural therapy program for Year 11 and 12 students developed by Dr Viviana Wuthrich.
The program has its theoretical basis in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is designed to specifically target difficulties many students have in coping with the building stress during the final years of secondary school. The program can be completed by students during or outside of classes in one school term and is ideal for students already experiencing high stress levels.
The Program can be delivered on an individual basis, or without in a group format, each group ideally containing no more than 10 students.
The Study Without Stress for Professionals eTraining course will enable psychologists, school counsellors and teachers in a wellbeing/mental health support role (e.g. pastoral care teacher), and other mental health workers or wellbeing staff with relevant qualifications and experience to implement the Study Without Stress program within a school environment or in a clinical setting.
The eTraining course will take approximately 4 hours to complete and may contribute to continuing professional development hours for health and education professionals (please check eligibility with your professional bodies requirements).
You have 1 year to complete the course modules from the time of your enrolment.
Upon successful completion of the final quiz, you will receive a certificate of achievement which will be downloadable directly from within the course, and will be granted a licence to deliver the Program.
If you are an existing Cool Kids Accredited Provider, we will also add the SWoS program delivery to your register in the Find A Provider site, recognising your training in this Program.
